Salty is a purebred Arabian mare. She is registered with the Arabian Horse Association. Salty is 7 years old and is 14.2 hands tall. She is chestnut and has a long flaxen mane and forelock. Salty has been showing for 3 years and has earned many ribbons. Salty jumps up to 2'6", she got second place in hunt seat equitation at ND State Fair, reserve champion in reigning at a 4-H show, and first place in youth team penning. She does great in all games, but her favorite is pole bending. Her average time is 23-24 seconds. She loves to hear the roar from the audience in gaming events and she seems to spead up with the cheering. Salty has gone on long trail rides, gone swimming, and has been rode along busy roads. I also rode her in a parade and she did great. She also does really good bareback with a halter and lead rope. (I have jumped her bareback with only a halter and lead rope on). Salty has a lot of energy. She was breed for speed and is very fast, but she makes a wonderful all around horse. She has loads of endurance. She stops, backs, pivots on her front and hind end, does flying lead changes, works a gate, walks over bridges, side passes, etc. She will go into an arena calmly. She loads, clips, bathes, is good for the farrier, vet, and dentist. She has never had any hoof problems and has never needed shoes. She is sure footed, and she always tries to make you proud. She will do almost anything you ask and she is a fast learner. She has great bloodlines and is an excellent breeding opportunity. Salty loves kids and attention, but she would do best with and intermediate or experienced rider. Salty is loved greatly and a great home is a must.
